It was always going to be a proper showdown, but few could have predicted just how fierce and thrilling the race at Rally Raid 2025 held at Stoni Athi & Lisa Farm held on the 6th and 7th September 2025 would be.
Day 1: The Battle Commences
The rally kicked off late in the mid-morning. Engines roared as participants gathered at the starting line to cheer on the 9 rally cars eager to tackle the challenging course ahead. The excitement was undoubtedly electric and the Stoni Athi & Lisa Farm backdrop added to its perfect setting. Hot on his heels first was Ian Duncan and co-driver Jaspai Matharu on car 91, whereas the rest joined in with a 3-minute gap start time. However, Ross Field and Co- driver Quentin Savage on car 19 clinched the overall win, narrowly holding off Alasdair Keith & Charles Mousley on Car 25 who came second.

Day 2: Trials and Tribulations
Sunday's stage took the competition a notch higher, with many seeking redemptions from day 1 mishaps – navigating tight corners, dodging dust clouds, and pushing their machines to the absolute limit edging the fans even more. However, two of the fan favorites momentum was short-lived as they'd suffered mechanical failures from the day 1 spectacle as such couldn't take part in the day's races.
And the Winner Is...
At the end of the intense 2-day competition, Ian Duncan and co-driver Jaspai Matharu clinched position one, emerging the winners of the Rally Raid 2025.
However, it wasn’t just them making headlines....
Tristan Barr finished 1st in the Clubman Bike category, Zane Young in the Clubman Quad, Tej Sehmi & Karan Sehmi in the Clubman Car category and lastly Ian Njoroge in the clubman Buggy category.

In Conclusion
The 2025 Rally Raid edition held at Stoni Athi & Lisa Farm was marked quite a thrilling experience for the spectators while on the flipside tested the limits of the competitors across the five categories.
The rally route, and site added on to the overall experience as this was such a beautiful savannah grassland, dotted with acacia woodlands and other shrubs. Its pristine location that serves as a corridor for wildlife connecting Nairobi National Park to other ecosystems made it wholesome for evening and early morning game drives for the spectators.
