Job Description

Reporting to IT Manager, IT Executive is responsible for overseeing all aspects of an organization's information technology operations and resources. This includes strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, infrastructure, and policies to ensure alignment with the organization's objectives and industry best practices. The IT Executive will lead a team of IT professionals, manage budgets, and collaborate with other departments to support business needs through technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data through the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the organization.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and develop solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Oversee the backend operations of the company's e-commerce platform, ensuring its smooth functioning, reliability, and scalability.
  • Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve backend issues impacting e-commerce operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams as necessary.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users as needed.
  • Manage software development projects and initiatives, including the selection of development methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
  • Identify IT-related risks and vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of IT disruptions.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Document procedures and technical solutions for future reference.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MS).
  • Strong technical expertise across a range of IT domains, including infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and data management.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
